These days, news of Yashaswinee Raje Singh is trending on the Internet and not for the right reasons. Apparently, a post on Reddit speculates that Raje is a beef eater, citing a screenshot from her Instagram account in which she appeared to express her fondness for a beef glass-noodle dish. The post quickly gained traction online, sparking debate and criticism from some users.
And if that wasn’t enough, there are rumors that she is/was in a relationship with a Pakistani Muslim guy, a claim that some observers say contrasts with the ideological stance often associated with BJP leaders who preach for Sanatan Dharma.
Many social media posts speculate that Yashaswinee Raje Singh calls Kashmir “India-occupied” and even voiced support for Palestinians by writing “Free Palestine” on her Insta handle. These views, if accurately represented, have drawn attention because critics argue they appear to be at odds with the ideological positions commonly associated with the BJP and India’s broader right-wing political establishment.
For the people who don’t know, Yashaswini Singh Raje is the daughter of a former BJP MLA, Vikram Singh, from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, which is being governed by the Yogi government.
Critics are pointing out that her father has been publicly associated with cow-protection politics, leading to accusations of hypocrisy. The issue sparked significant debate on social media.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Yashaswini Singh Raje has done her BA in International Relations from King’s College, London. She is around 31 years old as of 2026 and did her schooling at Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun.
The news about Yashaswaini allegedly following a different ideological stance from what is preached by her father’s political party came to light in January of this year, but the news is trending again ever since Amit Kilhor, a well-known UPSC teacher who is known for his criticism of the Modi government, shared the story on his Instagram.
“I am not Ashamed”: Yashaswinee Raje Singh
Back in Jan 2026, when Yashaswinee was trending for her anti-Hindu lifestyle, she made a response on her Insta with a detailed post saying, “I am not Ashamed”. For some reason, the post is not available in India at the moment, and you would need to use a VPN to see it.

Yashaswinee opined that living in London for several years meant that friendships across borders, cultures, and nationalities, and that people should apply the theory “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.
Regarding her relationship status, Yashaswinee clarified that although she is single at that time, the race, nationality, and religion of her partner will not be subject to anyone’s approval.

Many netizens on social media find it surprising when politicians who publicly project themselves as staunch defenders of Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma, and who often seek support on that basis, have family members whose personal beliefs, views, or lifestyles appear to differ significantly from the values they themselves advocate in public.
