Ground reporter Kapil Raut, who was heckled a few days ago by a group of CJP protestors in Maharashtra, has opined that he has gotten immense love and support after his video went viral.
We wrote the story a few days ago where the reporter Kapil Raut, drenched in rainwater, could be seen getting loud criticism from the surrounding protestors because of the media house that he works with.
Talking on Zee News, Kapil Raut opined that his daughter cried when she saw the video of her father getting severely booed.
Raut opines that the people who tried to make that clip viral did this believing that it would create a backlash for the media houses, but it had the opposite effect.

“I am Proud Of You Papa” said my daughter: Kapil Raut
The reporter opined that when he started getting love and respect from the netizens after the clip went viral, his daughter felt very happy and message that she is very proud of me.
Protesters also showed a great gesture when they recently apologized to Kapil Raut for the incident that happened the other day. The reporter shook hands with them and acknowledged their apology, indicating no grudge was harboured towards them.
“The patience that you showed while being heckled is commendable” said one of the protestors while apologizing to Kapil Raut
Glad that the protestors apologized to the Zee News reporter (Kapil Raut) who got bullied.

Hate the news channels, and the studio anchors who are spreading venom, but not the ground reporters,
Coz some of them are just doing their job. pic.twitter.com/g0I98jt5N0
