Raman Raheja, the man behind the famous Legends League Cricket has been accused of non payment of dues by many companies recently.
The allegations have surfaced through posts on LinkedIn, with several individuals claiming that payments related to their work for Legends League Cricket remain outstanding for a long time.
Buffalo Soldiers, one of the company said in its Linkedin post that Raheja has not paid them since 2024 and the dues, inititally at Rs 8 lakhs have now crossed to Rs 13 lakhs due to interest charges. The company alleges that they have sent multiple reminders over the years but to no avail. The company provides writing services for brands.
Chakrabarti’s allegation is not the only one involving people who say they worked with Legends League Cricket.
Another user by the name of Falguni Phatak has also shared similar story on her Linkedin stating that she worked as a creative director for LLC season 4 and that she hasn’t received her remuneration for 4 months.
Another user came forward with a similar story. His name is Arian Chauhan, who runs Adwan Sports.
Then there is Anjali Rawat, who also shared same ordeal back in 2024. Its not clear what is the current situation related to her matter.
Who is Raman Raheja?
Raman Rajeha appears active on Linkedin as he often posts regularly, however it appears that he hasn’t replied ever to the accusations.
Raman Raheja is a sports enterpreneur who is the founder of Legends League Cricket and also serve as its COO. His co-founder is Vivek Khushalani who is also the chairman. The parent company which operaes the league is Absolute Legends Sports Pvt. Ltd. and had earned nearly Rs 66.1 crores in 2024.
Legends League Cricket features retired cricketers in franchise system. The first edition of the league happened in 2022.
