Popular digital publisher Business Upturn has announced a leadership transition, with founder Vipul Sipani stating that operational responsibility will be handed over to a new generation of leaders within the organisation. The announcement was made by Sipani through a post on LinkedIn.

Launched in 2019, Business Upturn has steadily built its presence in the digital news space, gaining notable traction for its timely and high-engagement coverage of major events such as Bigg Boss, the IPL, and the Indian stock market. Over the years, the platform has expanded its editorial scope across entertainment, sports, and financial news.

In its growth journey, Business Upturn had earlier acquired the portal Nova Scotia Today with the objective of preserving and reviving the publication. Following its revival, the portal was subsequently sold off, marking a strategic exit from the project.

The publisher has also expanded its international footprint, launching dedicated platforms catering to audiences in the United States and Asian markets, offering region-specific news and coverage.

According to Sipani, the leadership transition will see the company’s core team—many of whom began their journey at Business Upturn as interns—take charge of day-to-day operations. He added that while he will step back from active management, he will continue to guide and support the team as they lead the organisation into its next phase of growth.
