It was yesterday when, a video went viral in which a woman was abusing security guards of the building. The video was recorded by one of the guards and went viral. As per the latest information from Noida Police, the woman whose video went viral for berating the security guards has been arrested on Thursday morning, and legal proceedings have started against her.

“Upon taking cognizance of the said video, the Bisrakh police station has taken the woman into custody and initiated necessary legal proceedings,” said the Noida police in their Tweet.

The woman went viral for using vulgar and casteist slurs against the security guards. Netizens had earlier slammed the behaviour of the woman for trying to play the women card.

Prominent men’s activist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj has thanked the netizens for amplifying the reach of the video, which then compelled the police to take action.

Reason for her Outburst?

As per news reports, the woman, who lives on the 9th floor, got angry when the delivery boy coming to her apartment was stopped by the security guards for verification. The woman, in anger, then made a ruckus and even threatened to kill the security guards. From the video, it appeared that she was intoxicated at that time.

“It is deeply saddening to see people behaving like this with those who work for them and help keep their society safe,” said Devendra Tiger, president of the Federation of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of Greater Noida
