Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has revealed that the state has received Rs 10 Lakhs donation from comedian Samay Raina. The CM expressed gratitude to Raina through his Twitter account.

Samay Raina’s 10 lakh Donation Comes Amid Assam Flood Crisis
The donation news of Samay Raina also grabs eyeballs because it was the state government under Himanta Biswa Sarma that filed an FIR against Samay Raina back in Feb 2025 when the Latent controversy had happened.
Back then, the Guwahati Police had registered an FIR against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija over alleged obscene comedy on the show.
