On October 12th, Akriti posted a statement called ‘A Personal Clarification’ in which she said that the views of those close to her had affected the way she saw Prithvi and their relationship.

“It is because I feel I was misguided,” she wrote, “I didn’t have the honest conversation that I feel we deserve.” She acknowledged that she caused hurt in their relationship with her decision and they have spoken openly since and understood each other, and decided to be together again.

She said that together they were enough for one another and that they did not need anyone else, asking people to respect their decision as they begin a new chapter, and also posted her message on Instagram.

What about her Previous Cryptic Posts?

In July of this year, Akriti posted a cryptic posted

“I got cheated on so many times, yet I never said a word. Still can’t believe that after taking one step ahead. Everything is true; every rumour is true. What you see on social media about him,”

Many social media users felt that the cryptic post was targeted towards the cricketer; however, Akriti denied those rumors later.

Then in September, she announced that the engagement has been called off. She did not said anything about infedility issue but cited different goals and circumstances.

And now in October 2026, she announced that the two are back together.

The fact that they have reconciled has once again stirred up debate on line, with a number of people questioning the speed at which it happened. Nevertheless, the couple have not given any further information about what took place between them.
