Famous YouTuber Manish Kashyap has made strong allegations that his car, a Toyota Innova HyCross, has suffered engine damage due to ethanol mixing in petrol. The YouTuber made a video and blamed Nitin Gadkari for the problem.
In the video, the YouTuber was talking to a technician who works for a Toyota dealer and found that the content of Ethanol in the petrol taken out from the tank is questionable.
He mentions that Toyota has refused to treat the damage inside the warranty.
“Now tell me, Nitin Gadkari ji, what is this drama you have been putting on? Nitin Gadkari has ruined the country. Everyone who owns a motorcycle or a car, everyone with a petrol vehicle, is crying right now. And due to only one reason—you, Nitin Gadkari.”
For the people who may be doubting whether Manish Kashyap’s car was Ethanol 20 certified, the answer is yes, as the YouTuber showed that his Toyota Innova HyCross is indeed E20 certified.
The speaker further alleges that many vehicle owners are experiencing mechanical issues.
“Someone’s vehicle is breaking down in the middle, someone’s vehicle is having more Ethanol in the petrol than officially allowed.”
Questioning the implementation of ethanol-blended fuel, the speaker says:
“Where are we supposed to get ethanol from? Do we have our own ethanol company? Do we manufacture ethanol? Where should this be tested to find out whether it is ethanol or what it is, and how exactly you people are getting it mixed? You people are lying.”
The speaker also criticises India’s adoption of E20 fuel and compares it with fuel standards in other countries.
“By saying it is 20 percent ethanol, you have ruined the country. In America, only 10 percent ethanol is used. I asked ChatGPT, and I got all the details. You people spread false rumors on social media. It is written there that in most countries, E10, a 10 percent blend, is still used. India is among the few countries in the world where E20 is used.”
Expressing frustration, the speaker continues:
“How many countries use E20? You have destroyed the vehicles of the entire country, Nitin Gadkari.”
The speaker then cites a personal example involving a newly purchased vehicle.
“I buy a car worth 40 lakh rupees. It is a brand-new car, and you have ruined it, Nitin Gadkari. You have ruined the whole country, Nitin Gadkari, just to benefit your own son.”
The speaker questions where motorists are supposed to purchase suitable petrol and alleges fuel quality issues.
“Where are we supposed to fill up? You can run on Hydrogen fuel. How are we supposed to manage? Tell us. It is a brand-new Toyota. It is such a reliable car. What are we supposed to do? Where are we supposed to buy petrol? Tell us. Wherever you go to buy petrol, look at the condition there—garbage is getting mixed into it, garbage is getting mixed into it.”
Concluding the remarks, the speaker opines that many motorists are facing similar problems and questions the taxes paid on vehicles.
“There are lakhs of videos on YouTube. Motorcycle owners are suffering. Car owners are suffering. Everyone is suffering. Why did we pay taxes on this? Why did we pay 18 Lakh rupees in taxes on this car?”
E20 Petrol Engine Problem Cases
This is not the first video depicting the problem with the engine after the government mandated E20 petrol. Numerous videos are online which has shown that their cars have suffered lowered mileage and engine problems after they were forced to switch to E20 petrol. However, the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has dismissed all such claims in many interviews.
