Hasan Minhaj is one of the prominent names of stand-up comedy. He is an American with strong roots from India, as his parents are from New Delhi, India.

He was born in Davis, California, USA, on September 23, 1985. He grew up in Northern California’s Silicon Valley. Ironically, the area is dominated by Indians. He has stated in an interview that he is extremely proud of his culture and heritage, especially as Indian people have family values.

Hasan has a cousin from Jamnagar. His father came to the USA in 1982, and he has seen the hard work of his parents and grandparents. His grandmother departed for heaven in 2023.
