A news is viral on X (Twitter) where it is being claimed that Pakistan’s bowler Hassan Ali is getting beaten inside an Indian train.
The OP of the post opined that Hassan Ali was beaten while he was travelling in India to visit his in-laws. Seeing the visuals of the clip, it appears that it is either a 3rd or 2nd AC coach.
Neither the Pakistani or Indian government has clarified yet on this matter.
What Does the Viral Video Show?
In the video, a man sitting on the lower side berth near the window is getting beaten by a police. The caption in the video says that the man was alleged to have committed robbery inside a train and was caught red-handed. The police could be seen searching the man for the stolen item.

Was it really Pakistani Bowler Hassan Ali Who Got Beaten Inside The Indian Train?
Hassan Ali, as of the current moment, is busy playing for Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast. He was last seen on the ground on 15 July 2026, where he played against Somerset in the quarter-final at Headingley, Leeds.
It is hard to imagine that a Pakistani cricketer would be travelling in India via a train, that too in a third or second AC coach. From the clip, it appears that it is a sleeper coach.
Netizens Slam
While most of the netizens slam the OP for spreading unverified and probably fake news, a few comments like the one below got more noticed than others. The user says that he is a senior anchor and editor at a news channel.
“If this incident is true, then it is a matter of our country’s honor and dignity. India must respond to it in the same manner; however, as of now, the incident has not been confirmed or denied by official sources.”
