DD anchor Sudhir Chaudhary has criticised Air India for lack of services during his Delhi – Mumbai journey. The anchor alleged that the airline did not provide aerobridge and were instead transported through buses. He also blamed that there was no effective air conditioning inside the buses.
The anchor claims that it was raining quite heavily and that passengers had to walk from the aircraft to the bus through rain.
Airline Responds to Sudhir Chaudhary
After his tweet went viral, Air India responded to Sudhir Chaudhary’s complaint and claimed that the services of aerobridge availability and aircraft parking positions are determined by the airport.
“We understand the concern, Mr Chaudhary. Aerobridge availability and aircraft parking positions are determined by the airport based on operational requirements and are not within our control. We will, however, review your feedback regarding the transfer experience, especially given the weather conditions.” the Airline responded in its tweet.
The airlines was a part of the government before 2022 but came under Tata Sons through privatisation.
