Shahana Goswami was recently on a podcast, where she talked about the ideology that she can be in a relationship with two people at the same time. She revealed an instance from her teenage years, when she was in love with two boys simultaneously at 14. The comment has raised eyebrows among netizens.

Shahana was on a podcast where she was asked about when she started experiencing a polyamorous relationship.

Reporter: Which made you feel that you could have multiple partners?

Shahana: I think, I had them even in school. I remember suddenly in one phase feeling like I was in love with two people. And then I said, oh wow, you can’t be in love with two people. That’s crazy.

Reporter: How old were you?

Shahana: I was 14 at the time. And funnily enough, my brother’s, my brother is six years older, my brother’s friend, unbeknown to her that I was going through it, she was also going through the same thing.

She had come and spoken to me about it. So I realized, oh, this is not, it’s a very common thing that happens. Not common like for everybody, but not so uncommon that it’s the only that I’m the only human being who’s going through it.

That was kind of defining moment that I think its possible. You have that.

The clip was shared on social media and immediately caught attention.

Shahana Goswami’s ideology on multiple relationships at the same time is not a new revelation. Known for dating Milind Soman earlier despite a 21-year gap, Goswami had stated in multiple interviews that she doesn’t believe in monogamy.

At one time, she even stated that there should be a system where couples can decide to renew their marriage after a certain number of years.

She questions the idea of getting committed in a relationship as nobody knows the future of that relationship.
