A viral video has sparked speculation that actor Rajpal Yadav was asked to leave the prayer meet of late actor Mushtaq Khan. The woman in the clip addresses the person as “Aapko bahar bheja jaayega” (You will be asked to leave), and various claims were made on social media regarding the disrespect of Yadav at the gathering.

“We may have to ask you to go outside. We are trying to explain to you but you are not understanding. Why are you doing this? This is just absurd.” the woman could be heard saying, while Rajpal appears to be in the center of the video recorded by someone

But the viral clip doesn’t tell the whole story. Another video has come to light where a man standing near Rajpal Yadav could be seen attempting to take a selfie with Yadav without his knowledge during the prayer meet. The woman’s comments were directed to the man, who was asked to stop taking pictures at the solemn gathering.

In the above video, it is clearly seen that the man acknowledged Rajpal Yadav with a smile after taking the selfie without Rajpal Yadav’s knowledge. It is appalling to see that some individuals need to have their fan moments recorded on camera even at the last rites of a person. Seeing such a desperate measure of taking selfie, the lady got furious and yelled at that man, but it appears in one video that she was yelling at Rajpal Yadav.

What Actually Happened at the Prayer Meet?

Yadav joined the prayer meet in Mumbai on 30th Sept to pay respects to Mushtaq Khan, who passed away on 24th Sept after a battle with cancer. Other dignitaries at the meet were members of the film industry like Poonam Dhillon and Rahul Roy.

The videos include a few additional details: In one shot, a man tries to take a selfie with Yadav. Those present at the event asked him to calm down and to keep his cellphone away. This exchange was recorded separately and played back to see why a woman was heard giving a warning to get somebody to leave.

Later on, Yadav left the venue, further adding to the confusion with the first clip being circulated without its full context. He reportedly had been at the prayer meet and paid his respects to the late actor.

Rajpal Yadav’s Emotional Tribute to Mushtaq Khan

Yadav then shared an emotional tribute after Khan’s demise, talking about how he met his counterpart just hours before Khan’s death. The news was hard for him to take, as he had spoken to them and shaken hands, he said.

Both were established Hindi film actors for several years, and Khan was famous for his supporting roles in movies like Welcome.

The viral video illustrates the imposing power of a short video clip to create a false impression when events are omitted. In the case at hand, it seems that the warning was issued for a man attempting to take selfies, and not for Rajpal Yadav.
