For the first few years, Taneja regularly vlogged with his pet dog Mau; however, his appearance started diminishing gradually, and fans started questioning the absence of Mau in the vlogging videos.

In one of the videos, Taneja and his wife were seen attending the program of Premanand Maharaj.

Taneja revealed to Premanand Maharaj during the program that he has left non-veg and alcohol in his life but is concerned about his pet dog, as he is not shifting from non-vegetarian to vegetarian food.

Premanand Maharaj then replied that the pet dog will eventually adapt if Taneja keeps on introducing vegetarian food to his pet dog, Mau.

“Make him also vegetarian. Give him Satvik Food and do some Kirtan which he (the pet dog) also listens to. said Premanand Maharaj in the video.

After some time, Taneja released a video on his vlog channel. In a video titled “Where is Mau”, Taneja indicates that there were religious and spiritual reasons that compelled him to move the pet dog Mau from the house to the farmhouse, the place where he makes products of Rosier Foods.

“As per our scripture, dogs are prohibited in the house.And in a house where a Thakur deity (vigraha) is present, it is considered impure in that house. After listening to this, I know that many animal and dog lovers will criticise me. You can criticize me. I will now live my life as per some principles and am not worried about criticism.” Taneja could be seen explaining why he decided to move the pet dog Mau to the farmhouse.

Taneja emphasized that his pet dog was not only happy but also “healthy” when he was living on the farmhouse instead of the home.

He also mentioned clearly that he is not willing to disclose the exact reasons for shifting the dog to the farmhouse. At that time, fans expressed criticism towards Taneja when he shifted the dog to his farmhouse.
