Fans Reaction

Shekhar Suman has recently launched his official YouTube channel on 25th March 2026. When the announcement came about his new show, Fans expressed their joy.

One comment caught our attention which says that the show may end up being the mouthpiece of a political party which Shekhar Suman joined in 2024. For the people who don’t know, Shekhar Suman left the BJP party within 24 hours of joining it.

Felt Dissappointed Seeing Raghav Chadha switching Party

On the launch of his show in the multiplex on 12th May, Shekhar Suman revealed that he was looking forward to inviting Raghav Chadha as the first guest on his new show as he was getting popular amongst the GenZs, however decided not to when Chadha made the switch from Aam Aadmi Party to BJP.

“Exactly two years ago, in May 2024, Shekhar Suman had joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). On this, he confessed, “I was a politician for just 24 hours. I realized my mistake, and I quit immediately (laughs)! Also, I wanted to do this show. I can’t do it while being aligned with a political party. There were some reasons and compulsions because of which a person takes a certain step. But the way I am, from where I come and how my upbringing is, I can’t survive by being a part of any political party.” Shekhar told the media while announcing his return.

“The first person I wanted was Raghav Chadha. But after what he did, I didn’t have the heart to call him. I really wanted him because, you know, he was getting so popular amongst Gen Z, and he was coming across as a vociferous sort of achiever and orator in Parliament, raising the common man’s problems. And then he did a volte-face, and everybody was disappointed,” Shekhar said during the launch of his show.
