Malaika Arora has always been a head turner however, the beauty queen had her fair share of struggles while growing up. During a conversation with Barkha Dutt, Maliaka Arora revealed that she was made fun of her figure in her school days but the actress learned to accept her body.

While Maliaka is known for her envious figure, she revealed that she was called “Hip Heavy And Busty” when she was growing up and that affected her self-esteem.

“I remember back in school, they used to say ‘Oh my god, she is so hip heavy. Oh my god, she is so busty.’ I remember that. That kind of made me feel a little awkward. It made me feel weird maybe for a bit. I remember a lot of kids saying that very clearly. But I think somewhere along the way I figured — that’s how I am, that’s how I look. I love my curves. I love the way I look in whatever I wear. So I thought maybe I should just be happy with that and embrace the way I look.”

Elaborating further on her issues with body dysmorphia during her growing up, Maliaka opined that she had to learn to love her body. For many, this may sound surprising, as she has always had the kind of figure that many young women aspire to — yet she still faced insecurity and judgment which according to Maliaka she faced for a long time.
