Mukesh Khanna, in a latest interview, has again strongly emphasized his old words and opinion about Samay Raina, in which he criticized his Raina’s comedy genre and argued that Samay’s show India’s Got Latent should be banned.

Many months ago, Mukesh Khanna used harsh words for Samay Raina that the comedian should be tied to a donkey and then made to run in the city. But netizens were shocked when both Mukesh Khanna and Samay Raina appeared together in a mobile ad. Many netizens argued that Mukesh Khanna has gotten sold out.

Mukesh Khanna, in his latest interview, clarified his participation with Samay Raina for a mobile ad. He opined that he wasn’t sold out and holds the same criticism for Samay Raina that he had expressed many months ago, and that the show Latent needs to be stopped.

Known for his Shaktiman role, the veteran actor clarified that he did the ad for a mobile company and not for Samay Raina or for his show. He also opined that it was the ad agency who were wanting him desperately to feature in the ad.

“They took ten days to convince me to do this ad. And I was thinking, how will I do it. I was thinking about removing Samay’s show and you (the producer) are asking me to do an ad with him. They were desperate to get me in the ad. Shaktiman can never get sold out.”

Mukesh Khanna later in the interview said that people don’t see that it was the ad company that was desperate to bring him in and that they were willing to pay him the demanded fee.

During the conversation, Mukesh Khanna strongly stated that he did the ad on his own terms and that the script underwent many changes as per his insistence. He opined that the people who cheer for Samay Raina are hypnotized by the comedian.

“This was not an ad for Samay Raina’s show. This was an ad for a mobile phone brand. I said, okay. So I asked them about the script. I told them I would not say this. Remove this thing from it; I will not do this. They said You tell us what you want, and we will do it. Whatever you say, we will change.”

“Then they tried to fly Samay Raina. I said, How can Samay Raina fly behind me. How can you do that? There was a scene in the original script where Shaktiman does the race, and Samay also follows it.”

“The script was heavily modified after my insistence, and lots of things were removed from the original script. Those people who are criticizing me, those who are telling me that I am sold, these people are Samay Raina’s fans. He has completely hypnotized you, people.”
Mukesh Khanna opined that he convinced the Ad director to do the ad on his own terms.

He strongly asked that “The dialogues in the ad were purely about the phone. Where did I bow down to say he is nice? He was trying. He is very smart. He has not reached the top just like that”

Mukesh Khanna again reiterated his sentiments for Samay Raina, which he opined many months ago: that Samay Raina’s face should be blackened and made to roam in the city while sitting on a donkey.

The actor known for playing Shaktiman appeared in no mood during the podcast to let Samay Raina go. He opined that he was upset with the Supreme Court for quashing FIRs against the comedian this year and strongly stated that he should be punished and that the show should be stopped.
