Sonam Wangchuk has opined that if there are doubts about the authenticity of Abhijit Dipke’s educational records from Boston University, then it should be investigated.
For a long time, there have been reports where BJP members and their supporters have questioned the authenticity of Abhijit Dipke’s education.
Abhijit had earlier replied to such rumors by taking a direct jibe at the Prime Minister that while he is ready to show his degree, will the emperor (indicating to PM) show his degree?
Prominent social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was in the spotlight for his 20-day fasting for CJP protests, said in a conversation with Prakhar Gupta that he did not doubt the claims that the CJP party was handled or funded by an external agency from another country.
Wangchuk opined that he did some research on Dipke and other former members of the CJP party and found no reason for suspicion, which is why he decided to join their cause.
“Politically speaking, I don’t find anything wrong if someone comes from a certain political party background,” Wangchuk said
The host Prakhar Gupta then alleges that one of his close friends, Vinamre Khasana, tried to find Dipke’s education records but did not find any such records, which implies that Abhijit Dipke graduated from Boston University.
Wangchuk replied that he didn’t feel any such discrepancy about his educational background at the time of the protests, which made him suspicion about him.
“If you are saying that there is no record of him graduating from the University, then I am all in support of any investigation. It should be done in such a case. But personally, I didn’t feel at that time (during the CJP protest) that there was such an issue about the authenticity of his education. If one feels that some investigation should be done about his educational background, then it’s still not too late. In fact, it should be done because someone is leading. ”

Did Abhijit Dipke Did his Graduation from Boston University?
There is a detailed interview on Boston University on the 8th of June 2026, where it appears that Dipke did his Masters Degree in Public Relations from Boston University.
“My time at Boston University had a profound impact on how I think about communication, public discourse, and civic engagement. Coming from a political background in India, I already had practical experience, but BU gave me the academic foundation to better understand how narratives are built, how public opinion is shaped, and how communication can be used to mobilize people around a cause.

The classes challenged me to think critically, question assumptions, and look at issues from multiple perspectives rather than simply through a partisan lens.
Being surrounded by people from different countries, backgrounds, and political beliefs made me appreciate the importance of listening, dialogue, and the exchange of ideas even when there is disagreement. ”
