A new rage is gaining momentum on social media. After the removal of Dr. Dharmendra Pradhan from the Education Ministership, netizens are questioning the existence of casteism and the reservation system in India, and the new movement appears to address these two issues.

As of now, the Reservation Hatao Movement has made it clear that there won’t be any single individual behind the digital campaign. In almost every video, the founder did not identify himself but says that he got motivation and support from Ajeet Bharti and Anand Rangnathan.

In one of the videos, he emphasized that he doesn’t feel the need to identify himself on the Internet and that it is a citizen-led campaign.

As many had anticipated, Ajeet Bharti has recently hinted at starting his association with the new digital campaign.

The political commentator is probably the only prominent personality who has been talking about the decades-old problem for years.

In one of the videos, the founder expressed his differences with the RSS, accusing the organization of hypocrisy. He claimed that while the RSS avoids discussing caste in its internal discourse, it does not object to political parties engaging in caste-based appeasement to secure votes.

He opines that removing casteism from India will automatically solve the problem of reservation in Indian Education.

He has appealed to women not to participate in physical protests if it goes on the ground, saying he does not want them to get hurt if the demonstrations turn violent, as it happened during the CJP protests. Instead, he wants them to show support for the movement by spreading its message and raising awareness on social media.

The founder says that he was after discussing the matter in private with friends and known people, he was challenged by them to talk publicly about if he really cared about the matter.

According to him, that is exactly what his group intends to do. For now, the focus is on building a strong support base online, and once the movement gains enough momentum, it will be taken to the streets like the CJP protests.

At the same time, he made it clear that he does not want the movement to transform into a political party.

He said the campaign is aimed solely at eliminating casteism and ending the caste-based reservation system, and insisted that it should remain a people’s movement rather than become a political party. He believes that the political parties in India have no desire to remove casteism and the reservation system in order to preserve their vote banks.

We don’t know whether the founder of the Reservation Hatao Movement is against the ideology of CJP or Dipke. But one of his opinions stood out, where he took a jibe at Abhijeet Dipke in one of the reels, implying that there should be no reservation in the education system in India. He also requested people to ask for reservation reform on the page of Instagram.

If we talk about the founder, there are also claims by NEET aspirant Harsh Dubey that he was offered to take charge of the viral page when they had around 400K followers and that they had stopped communicating with him after crossing 1 million followers.
