Abhijeet Dipke has now joined the bandwagon targeting Nitin Gadkari over the Ethanol issue. During a conversation with Lallantop, Dipke commented that the mileage of his own car has dropped from using ethanol-blended petrol.

Taking a dig at Nitin Gadkari, Dipke opined that Ethanol is a ninja technique being introduced by the government.

“They add ethanol but don’t reduce the price of petrol. The engine, which gets damaged due to Ethanol that also a major issue. Mileage is also dropping…………….They should reduce the prices of petrol.” Dipke told The Lallantop

Dipke also commented that the mileage of his own car has dropped. When the reporter asked where the car is, Dipke mentioned he was talking about the car that his father uses in Maharashtra, and that there is a reduction in mileage after using ethanol-blended petrol.

Recalling an incident about the engine damage, he had to get engine work done, which cost him Rs 40,000, as water had seeped into the engine, indicating that engine damage due to ethanol-blended petrol could cost a lot of money for repair work.

Dipke alleged that many car manufacturers have spoken out against the use of ethanol-blended petrol, but the government is hell-bent on imposing it on the people, and that companies don’t have any option in such a case.

Dipke is currently actively involved in the protest demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He is handling the protest while Sonam Wangchuk has been on hunger strike for the last 2 weeks.
