A video is doing rounds on social media where a cab driver named Angkit Joshi has uploaded a video with a 23-year-old customer, who is allegedly working for Google. The salary will surprise you.

The 23 year old gave a bit background information where he had worked earlier. He stated that he joined Amazon through off-campus placement after graduating from college.

For his Google interview, the 23-year-old revealed that the total interview rounds went for nearly 3 months.

The customer, a young 23-year-old, was asked by the cab driver how much he earns. While the young boy did not disclose his salary as he opined of an NDA that Google does not allow.

But he found a clever way of disclosing it. He took out his phone and searched on Google about the salary of an employee, and to the cab driver’s surprise, he read that it is showing that the monthly package is roughly 4.8 lakhs per month (on Google search).

After getting to know about the 23-year-old’s salary, the cab driver Angkit Joshi was stunned and joked that he would be able to match Sundar Pichai’s Google salary when he reaches the age of 50 – 60 years.

The 23-year-old also revealed that the company does not provide the payout totally in the salary package, but also diversifies it in ESOPs.

The curious driver asked whether a certain number of hours is needed for the employee to sit in the office, to which the 23-year-old replied that it’s not mandatory, unlike in other IT corporations. He emphasized that once you get into a company like Google, your life is set.
