A video is getting viral where Nitin Gadkari can be seen saying that an FIR has been launched against Bihar YouTuber Manish Kasyap for making false claims that his four wheeler got malfunctioned due to E20 Ethanol blended petrol.

A few days ago, Bihar YouTuber Manish Kasyap made a video alleging that his four-wheeler Toyota Hycross had stopped functioning all of a sudden. He opined that when he bought the car to the dealer for inspection, they opined that the vehicle Innova Hycross, which had run only 12,000 km till then, was damaged due to a petrol problem. He had alleged that the petrol sample taken out from his tank had a higher quantity of Ethanol than the permissible limit.

Toyota had rejected the claims in its official statement and opined that the issue was due to fuel contamination and not due to ethanol-blended petrol. The manufacturer also said that the fuel lines were cleaned and the vehicle was refilled with standard E20 petrol, after which the vehicle started operating normally, and that it was returned to the customer.

In an interview with a news channel, Nitin Gadkari revealed that the FIR was done by the Toyota company against the Bihar YouTuber after he alleged that his vehicle got damaged due to ethanol petrol. He opined that the company demanded inspection of the car, for which the YouTuber did not agree initially. Eventually, he agreed, and the company found that the issue was due to adulterated petrol, following which the company launched an FIR against the YouTuber.

The cabinet minister also suggested that if people face engine problems, then they need to get it inspected with the dealer, and that a copy of that inspection letter should be shared with him, too. He claims that no such complaint related to Ethanol blending has been received by him to date.
