Pakistani Cricketer Abdul Razzak who is known for making controversial statements time and again has now given another bizzare statement. In an interview with Fawad Alam, the former cricketer talked on many aspects including that of Tamannaah Bhatia on which we will get into but first let us tell you some more interesting aspects from the interview about Abdul Razzak.

Talking for 8 – 9 hours with Female Fans : Abdul Razzak

When asked about his female fan follwing, the former Pakistani Cricketer did not shy away and opined that his hotel room used to be busy whenever Pakistan team were touring abroad. Razzak opinied that the hotel used to get lots of calls from female fans wherever Pakistan team used to stay and that the craziest thing he did was talking to a female fans for hours, sometimes for 8 – 9 hours.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s father is a Muslim : Abdul Razzak

There was a time when rumors of Abdul Razzak and Tamannaah Bhatia affair were in full swing around 2012. The two had shot together for an jewellery advertisement in Dubai and rumors of their dating started. Social Media was wild with guesses that Tamannaah Bhatia even got married to him but then got divorced.

Neither Tamannaah nor Abdul Razzak commented on the rumor for many years until 2025 when Tamannaah clarified that there wasn’t any such thing between the two of them. Razzak, in the recent podcast expressed dissappointment on it though and said that there was no need of Tamannaah to talk about the rumor since it had already died a long time ago.

But then Razzak said something about Tamannaah Bhatia which immediately caught our attention.

Abdul Razzak made a bizzare statement that Tamannah Bhatia’s father is a Muslim. Speaking in a podcast with former cricketer Fawad Alam, Razzak made this bizzare claim. He mentioned that he had a conversation with Tamannaah’s father during the advertisement meet up in Dubai and even suggested him to raise Tamannaah as a Muslim as per Islamic rules.

“Her father is a Muslim and her mother is Indian. When her father and me were talking, I asked him what kind of combination is this as this is not allowed as per Islam. I told her father that this is wrong. If you are Muslim, then make her Muslim too. I told him that this type of thing is not allowed as per Islamic traditions. He didn’t said anything then.”

For the people who don’t know, Tamannaah Bhatia’s father name is Santosh (Santhosh) Bhatia who belongs to a Sindhi Hindu family.

Previous Controversial and Bizzare statements

This is not the first time that Abdul Razzak had said something bizzare that Tamannaah Bhatia’s father is a Muslim. Few years back he made a derogatory comment related to Aishwaraya Rai where he opined that marrying someone like Aishwarya Rai will never yield a good-natured, pious and moral child.

The comment got him severe backlash from not only the fans but also from Pakistani cricketers. Razzak then had issued apology for his statement.

In Pakistani social media circles, there were strong rumors that Razzak was involved in an affair many years ago with Deedar, a pakistani actress and stage dancer. She denied the affair in an interview but accepted that there was friendship between the two of them at one time which died.
