India Captain SuryaKumar in an interview with SportsTak revealed that Pakistani players crossed the line on many occasions. The Indian Team is on a high after winning Asia Cup T20 Format against Pakistan. While it was a close game, the cricketing pundits from both nations agreed that India outplayed Pakistan in all the three matches of Asia Cup 2025.

Such was the banter and rivalry in the game that the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, who usually do not get involve in any heated exchange also gave a befitting reply to Haris Rauf by mimicking his plane crashing gesture when he bowled him with almost a searing yorker.

Interviewer: During the game, the Pakistani players made gestures. Did that affect your team?

Suryakumar Yadav: I saw how in the game, everything keeps going up and down. Aggression also comes from the bowlers, from the fielders, everyone wants as much as they want in the game. But what is there, in those things, you should never cross the line.

Interviewer: Were there many incidents on the field?

Suryakumar Yadav: Now, how many things the players told me, which happened in all three matches, I cannot share like that, but a lot happened on the ground that players were telling the coaching staff to me.

Interviewer: What did you tell the players after those games?

Suryakumar Yadav: But I told them only one thing after the first game and also after the second game that if we focus well on cricket, the occasion is good. If we win here too, then nothing bigger than this can be an answer for anyone.

After the match got over, the drama happened as the Pakistan team stayed inside their dressing room for nearly an hour, making everyone wait at the presentation including Mohsin Naqvi and other dignitaries. Finally, the presentation ceremony happened but the Indian team didn’t collect the Asia Cup Trophy. It is reported that ACC and Pakistan chairman Mohsin Naqvi took the trophy away from the presentation ceremony as he was adamant that the trophy won’t be handed over to the Indian team by anyone except him.
