Sunita Ahuja is often known to speak her heart out and gives statement that raises eye brow. The relationship turmoil between Govinda and her is not unknown to the public. While everything seems ok at surface level in their marriage but the two often takes potshot at each other in their interviews.

Sunita in a conversation with Pinkvilla recently joked that she wants Govinda to get her married to some other man. When asked by the interviewer about why she wishes that, she opined that Govinda often labels her a bacchi (little kid) and that’s why she requests him to get her married again to someone else.

“I once told Govinda — everywhere you say that I haven’t grown up, that I’m like your child. So I said, if you think I’m older than Tina, then get me married, yaar. If you have three kids — Sunita, Tina, and Yash — then I’m the eldest child, right? I’m your daughter, so get me married to some nice boy, yaar. I say this — and he just stays quiet. (He says) go find one for yourself.”

Few days ago, Govinda made a reference to his wife’s statement on the talk show with Twinkle Khanna and Kajol and opined that “She has now become like this. Sometimes, I think for a long time to understand what she is saying actually. Sunita is like a kid and she has managed to keep our house intact only because of her expressive personality. She is just like a kid. Very honest. She doesn’t say wrong. Its just that she sometimes she reveals things which she shouldn’t”

Hid marriage for one year

Many people may not know but Sunita Ahuja hid her marriage to Govinda in order to protect his fan following. Back in the days, superstars enjoyed a massive female fan following if they were unmarried in the public eye. The two got married when Sunita was 18 and Govinda was 25. During Pinkvilla conversation, Sunita opined that Govinda may not have married her if it wasn’t for his mother who liked Sunita a lot. She also hinted at her marriage being rocked by infedility but seems to have forgiven her husband for it.
