Retired Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan tweeted on 8th September that “Mera ek kutta border ke uss par bhi hai.” Ever since he tweeted, some fans are speculating that the tweet was for Shahid Afridi. It is to be noted that Dhawan himself had not taken any name in the tweet.

Many Pakistani fans didn’t took liking to the tweet. They opined that hate cannot bring harmony between the two nations.

Afridi has been known to spew hate speech against India on many occasions. The Indian cricketers including Dhawan had previously condemned hate statements of Shahid Afridi against India.
