Shehnazz Gill on Marriage : Qualities that she is looking for?
While eating during the podcast, the conversation took a thoughtful turn when Kamya steered it towards Shehnaaz’s personal life. The actress, known for her wit and charm, gave a candid reply on sharing her perspective on relationships and what truly matters to her when it comes to finding a husband for marriage.
Curly Tales host Kamya Jani asked Shehnaaz Gill on what she is looking for in a man for her marriage to which she replied that she wants someone who is understanding and gives her space. Shehnaaz opined on the importance of choosing the right man to spend a whole life.
Kamya Jani: So what’s the plan right now regarding marriage? Are you actively looking? Is there someone in your life?
Shehnaaz Gill: No, nothing like that. When it has to happen, when I meet the right person, it will happen.
Shehnaaz Gill: As for qualities — I need understanding. Someone who understands everything about me, understands every little thing. Someone who is a bit open-minded and doesn’t ask unnecessary questions. He should do his work, I should do mine, and both of us should give each other space.
Kamya Jani: But do you feel ready? For a relationship? To welcome somebody into your life?
Shehnaaz Gill: I’m always ready. Always, always ready — but then I also run away quickly, you know.
Shehnaaz Gill: Yes. When it comes to marriage, I can say that there’s still a lot of time. And I’ll take that decision very thoughtfully because it’s a very big decision in life. Marriage happens only once — it should happen with one person, and I should stay with that person forever.
That’s a big investment, and you have to move forward after thinking carefully. Even if there are fights or disagreements, you have to work through them, you have to make things right. I feel that if you are with one person, then you should stay with that one person only — and that’s why it’s very important to choose the right man.
Shehnaaz Gill had a difficult time when her boyfriend Siddharth Shukla passed away in 2021 after suffering a massive heart attack. The duo became friends on Big Boss and their chemistry was liked by the viewers. After Siddahrth Shukla, Shehnaaz name was also linked with Guru Randhawa but both the actors clarified that they were good friends only.
