Veteran actor Annu Kapoor in a latest interview to Shubhankar Mishra got emotional while talking about his second wife Arunita Mukherjee who he married in 1995. Annu Kapoor revealed that he deeply regrets cheating on his second wife and that Arunita decided to take divorce from him after coming to know that the actor was having an affair with his ex wife.

Annu Kapoor, who is known for his unfiltered tongue admits that it was his mistake that he cheated on his second wife and that he will always regret it till he is alive.

Kapoor got tears in his eyes while speaking about his betrayal towards his second wife and opines that he will always do his level best for her however, he believes that his second wife should not have divorced him after getting to know about his affair.

Shubhankar Mishra: “What happened with your divorce?”

Annu Kapoor: “She slapped me and she asked for the divorce, not me. She should have taken that rush decision anyway. Just forget it.”

Shubhankar Mishra: “Do you regret anything?”

Annu Kapoor: “Just forget it, it’s okay. I’m… my mistake. And I am not free from that sin in this life. I will be able to… it will go with my funeral pyre. That is grief.”

Shubhankar Mishra: “What will you do for them?”

Annu Kapoor: “I will do my best. I promise to do whatever is possible for them and to give my life. I will do it for them until my last breath.”

Who is Annu Kapoor’s Second Wife?

Annu Kapoor’s second wife is Arunita Mukherjee with whom he got married in 1995. The duo met on the sets of Antakshari in 1994. The couple divorced in 2008 after Arunita came to know about the affair of Annu Kapoor with his first wife. They have one daughter by the name of Aradhita Kapoor.
