Ronak Khatri is the former president (2024-2025) of the Delhi University Students’ Union. He is a member of NSUI, which is a student party wing of the Congress. He is a Hindu and was born in the year 2003 which makes his age around 23 years old as of September 2025. Rohit is quite tall, standing at around 6 feet 1 inches in height. Very recently, his tenure as a DUSU President ended. He will be followed by a candidate from his rival ABVP party. Both parties argue that the other had done vote tampering and that Rohit had caused ruckus inside the college.

In one of the interview, Ronak discussed how he started his journey. He was pursuing law degree from Delhi University’s Campus Law Centre where he found administrative problems of contaminated drinking water and bad hygiene. As per Ronak, the TDS of the drinking water and that of water used in washrooms had the same level. The video led to an outrage amongst the students and Ronak started gaining support from students for raising voice in support of student’s welfare.

He was asked by administration to delete the videos which had gone viral. Ronak denied. He got support from other colleges affliated to Delhi University and gained more support from students. He filed nomination for DUSU presidentship (From NSUI; a student wing party of Congress) and won ^Ref..

Ronak Khatri may be the president of DUSU currently, but he had exhibited leadership qualities way before that. In April 2024, he filed a petition in the Delhi High Court for the installation of AC units in the Campus Law Center. The Delhi University, in its counter-affidavit, promised that AC units would be installed in four months and eventually, did it. This victory, according to Ronak Khatri, was the turning point of him being perceived as a potential candidate for the president of DUSU ^Ref..

In an interview, Ronak talked about the lack of clean drinking water on the campus of his college from where he is pursuing his post-graduation. Seeing the problem, Ronak installed 40 Clay pots on the campus and provided clean water to the students for two months. This was before he became the president of DUSU.
