“Poora Bollywood ka samarthan mere saath hai.” were the words when Rajpal Yadav came out of the Tihar Jail.
Rajpal Yadav was finally granted interim bail on 17th Feb 2025 by the Delhi High Court. The interim bail is valid until 18th March 2025. As soon as he came out of the court, the actor was seen smiling and cheerful surrounded by equally enthusiastic reporters who were looking for his byte.
After Rajpal Yadav came out of Tihar Jail, he gave a speech which sounded similar to that of a victory speech. The actor said that the coming 27th Feb will mark his 30 years in Bollywood.
Rajpal Yadav had applied for the bail in order to attend the wedding of his niece which is on 19th Feb.
We all know that the High Court had previously reprimanded him for his inability to pay back the borrowed money from 2012. In fact, for this interim bail, the High court also took away the passport of the actor. Rajpal also made the payment of Rs 1.5 crore through DD which enabled him to get the interim bail.
But for some reason in India, people always want to portray an innocent and pious image of themselves in the public domain no matter the crime they have done.
After Coming out, Rajpal Yadav said :
“That It was because of the love and blessings of the children that I was able to do almost 250 films till now.” Dear Rajpal, just because you have a portfolio of 250 films under your bag that doesn’t mean you are above the law and not required to pay back the borrowed money of an amount that is as big as Rs 5 crores (Close to 24-25 crores as per Interest rates).
In fact, one may observe that despite doing 250+ films till now, you still do not have the financial bandwidth to return the money that you borrowed in 2010.
For the people who don’t know, Rajpal in many of his interviews had claimed that the businessman had invested Rs 5 crores and that the money was not taken for finance. Rajpal in Lallantop interview claimed that the businessman invested the money because he wanted to launch his grandson through Rajpal Yadav.
“That the whole country is with me.” Dear Rajpal, the whole country including me wishes of your good health and prosperity. However, that does not mean we wish anyone to get away after committing a financial crime.
“I have always been present whenever the Court has asked me and will continue to do so.” Dear Rajpal, you are not doing any favour on the court or on the plaintiff by bring present whenever the court has asked you to.
Cried in front of Rajpal Yadav : Manohar Gopal Agarwal
In an exclusive interview with NewsPinch, Manohar Gopal Agarwal of M/s Murali Projects revealed the distress that at one time he cried inconsolably at Rajpal’s home in Mumbai almost begging for his money. He also rebuffed the claim that he invested and stated that he financed the money which means Rajpal had to return back with the agreed interest rate. The businessman claimed on the interview that the agreement was made with the actor with the said clauses related to the nature of money.
Next Hearing
The next hearing is listed on 18th March 2026 and it would be decided whether the actor’s bail will be extended or will he return back to the jail.
