A few days ago, Dhruv Rathee took a sarcastic jibe at Sharukh Khan, questioning his need to advertise for a tobacco company despite having enormous wealth.

Now, Dhruv Rathee taken a sarcastic dig at Akshay Kumar for promoting Tobacco product in the past. During a collaboration with Kunal Kamra, Dhruv Rathee opined that someone like Akshay Kumar had planned it to do the advertisment to earn a hefty money and to step back if pubic backlash happens.

Dhruv was pointing to Akshay’s commercial of Vimal Pan Masala which also had Sharukh Khan, Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn.

One of the collabs made a opinion that Akshay Kumar was quite clever as he would have received a hefty paycheck from the company for doing an advertisement which goes against his fitness image.

During the conversation, Rathee opined not everything can be blamed on the government and someone like celebrities (influencers/ Youtubers) also have a social responsibility to reject doing wrong things for money.

Rathee opined that top actors of every industry set the standards for their juniors. He then goes to criticize Tiger Shroff also for participating in the tobacco advertisement, citing his massive fan base among children.

Few years ago, Akshay Kumar had left the advertisment for the tobacco company after he received severe backlash and opined that he would also donate the entire earnings from it to charity. He clarified that the advertisements, which are still airing, were made two years ago, and he cannot raise any objections due to contractual obligations.
