If reports from Pak media are to be believed then the Indian team will finally receive the Asia Cup trophy 2025 on 10th of November 2025. The claim is made by BBN Sports journalist Ejaz Wasim Bakhri who is big critique of BCCI and Indian government. The journalist in his recent video opines that both the BCCI and PCB have decided to end of trophy tussle in the next meeting in November.

Mohsin Naqvi to Personally Handover the Trophy To Indian Players

The journalist who is known as the close source of Mohsin Naqvi has revealed that the PCB and ACC chief will not bow down to BCCI’s demand of receiving the trophy through someone else and that Naqvi will himself handover the trophy to one or two Indian players in the presence of BCCI Officials.

Ejaz Wasim Bakhri emphasized that Naqvi had strongly stated that one or two Indian officials will be required to be present to take the trophy from Naqvi himself.

The Indian players had earlier refused to take the trophy from Naqvi which led to the delay of post-match presentation by almost an hour resulting in Naqvi going away with the trophy.

Ejaz Wasim in the video rubbished the Indian media reports which opined that BCCI had warned Mohsin Naqvi or face escalation during the upcoming ICC meeting.

Will BCCI accept the Offer to Receive Trophy from Mohsin Naqvi?

PCB and Naqvi although had invited SuryaKumar Yadav, Rajeev Shukla and few BCCI officials to hand over the trophy on 10th November, it is yet to be seen whether BCCI will accept the invitation. The BCCI and Indian Team had previously conveyed strongly that they are unwilling to receive the trophy from the PCB chairman due to his political statements on India Pakistan Geopolitics.
