Professor Neha Singh, who had recently deactivated her LinkedIn account, has now received an offer from a Pune-based IT company on the same platform. The Professor who made the blunder at the AI Summit has been the subject of trolling for the last few days.

Neha Singh Receives Job Offer on LinkedIn by Pune Company

The company, in its LinkedIn post, stated that Neha Singh was made the ‘scapegoat’ by the University and that her image was maligned on LinkedIn. In its detailed post, the company opined that Neha Singh is a qualified professional and they want to hire her.

They also requested that the LinkedIn community get them in touch with her somehow, as Neha has recently deactivated her LinkedIn profile.

Dear LinkedIn Community,
Official Press Release for Neha Singh.
VEZER INNOVATIONS Pvt. Ltd. is keen to hire Neha Singh from Galgotias University.

What transpired in the last 24 hours with Neha Singh, Head of Communications Department at Galgotias University, is more shameful than tragic.
80–90% of the LinkedIn community has maligned her.
10–20%, while taking a more neutral stance, has not been particularly supportive.

How we at VEZER see it:
1. Neha is a highly confident communicator.
2. Neha represented the University well.
3. The University gave her the wrong information.
4. She was not a part of the AI Department to know the realities.
5. She was deliberately made the scapegoat, if her resignation is true.

We at VEZER think it is the University at fault and not particularly her.
By the way she spoke on camera, we are confident she will be a great communicator for any organization she joins.
We at VEZER INNOVATIONS Pvt. Ltd. would like to be the first organization to take a more supportive approach and offer Neha Singh a lucrative job opportunity.

As of this moment, Neha’s LinkedIn profile is deactivated.
It would be great if the #LinkedIn community can help us get in touch with her.
Or pass this message of trust, hope and positivity to her.

Gets Schooled by a Netflix Employee?

The post went viral due to its trending nature. It has accumulated nearly 1600 likes as of now and has engaged with many users. One of the comments stood out where a profile by the name of Isha Nigam, who apparently works at Netflix. Isha opined that

“Posts like these are proof that even today in India the only skill that truly matters is fluency in English — everything else is forgivable. It’s so delusional to think that a woman representing an entire communication department did not think of doing basic due diligence before making such bold and false statements in front of international media, and then kept defending her lies with manipulation and gaslighting. And here she is being applauded — wow! Having good command over a language is not the same as being a good communicator!!”

Publicity or Marketing Stunt?

Many users reflected the sentiment that the post is not made to show sympathy for Neha Singh but is purely a marketing tactic to ride on the trending issue.

One user also commented that he had never heard the name of the company before, which is willing to hire Neha Singh, and that is a great marketing tactic by the company.
