Kunickaa Sadanand is in Big Boss these days and is giving tough time to all the contestants. The actress who has been in the industry for last 40 years is renowned for her fearless and bold attitude and many people have spoken highly about her on camera.

However, there was a time when Kunicka had to lie to her good friend Deepshika Nagpal. When the rumors started circulating that Kunickaa Sadanand is being approached by Big Boss, Deepshika called her to confirm. However, Kunicka categorically denied the rumor.

On the day Kunickaa left for Big Boss, she sent a voice note to Deepshika, and confirmed the rumor saying that she is extremely “sorry” for lying.

But Deepshika understands why Kunickaa may have lied due to stipulations in the contracts of the reality TV show that may have barred her to disclose in the public domain.

The Koyla actress in conversation with Hindi Rush heaped praises on Kunickaa for the way she is playing the game and opined that it will be a big comeback for Kunicka back to the limelight.

Interviewer: You mentioned Kunika ji earlier. Tell us about your bond with her.

Deepshika Nagpal: I like Kunika ji a lot. You know, in Koyla she was there, and also in Yeh Dooriya. She’s such a fierce lady—she is the way she is, and I’m so happy with her.

Interviewer: You seem quite fond of her. Any memorable moment you’d like to share?

Deepshika Nagpal: Oh yes! When I came to know that Kunika ji was going in Big Boss,” I actually called her. I said, “Kunika ji, are you going or not?” She replied, “Who said I’m going?” So I said, “Okay, fine.” I thought so—and I know that she will not lie! She will always speak her truth, but there’s always a clause — and that shows her honesty also that she didn’t tell me. She is like a family to me.

Interviewer: You seem to share a personal connection with her and her family.

Deepshika Nagpal: Absolutely. She’s like family to me. Her son and all of them grew up in front of me. When she left, she didn’t tell me directly — Ayan, her son, sent me a voice note saying, “Mumma sent it.” He said, “Deepshi, I’m so sorry, I feel very bad. I lied, but you know how it is.” Of course, I know how it is. He didn’t need to do that, but he did — and that shows her character.

Interviewer: What do you think about her current work?

Deepshika Nagpal: She’s playing fantastically. I was just going to tell her not to make the same mistakes I did. But thank God, she’s not like me — not a senior citizen, or Mother Teresa, or someone living just for her children. No, she’s doing it for herself, and I’m very happy. This is going to be a very big comeback for her.
