A video is getting viral on Reddit where Youtuber Dhruv Rathee is getting questioned by Pakistani fans for his coverage on Operation Sindoor.
In the video, the Pakistani fans were expressing their dissappointment (in a polite way though) and were Rathee’s research for the Operation Sindoor video.
Dhruv clarified that not all Indian media is dishonest and that some of them can be trusted for research purpose.
“Soban Tariq: One controversial thing I want to ask you. The Operation Sindoor video that you made — I felt that the video was made in haste. You had mostly given references of Indian media, and you also released a short video claiming that Karachi port was captured by the Indian Navy.
I just want to ask you one thing — did you make that video in haste? Because normally, your research is very good and credible.”
“Dhruv Rathee: I criticise Indian media, which is mostly the news channels. That doesn’t mean that print media is also wrong. There are many hardworking journalists who are doing their job honestly. So it’s not that nothing can be trusted.”
“Soban Tariq: But by looking at that video, I felt it was made in haste. It may have been better if more time had been given for research. Your research standards are usually very strong, and we are thankful for the knowledge and information you have shared with us.”
It is to be noted that Dhruv Rathee has a strong fan base in Pakistan as the Youtuber often criticises India and the Modi government. However, when Rathee released Op Sindoor video, he faced massive backlash through Pakistani comments as Rathee had taken a pro-India stance in that video.
