Prominent Youtuber Dhruv Rathee has defended Ishit Bhatt, the kid who got viral for his overconfident behaviour on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Rathee in his latest video has criticised the critism of Ishit Bhat on social media. Many social media fans were unhappy with the over-confident way of Ishit Bhat and blamed the parents for wrong parenting.

Dhruv Rathee advocated for clear boundaries and logical explanation multiple times so that children understands basic etiquettes and manners. The Indian-origin vlogger, now settled in Germany, cited a study suggesting that every generation tends to believe it is superior to the one that follows.

Rathee defended the behaviour of Ishit Bhat on KBC citing a research which says that children and adolescents often overestimate their abilities and knowledge level and that they really start to know their real capability in late elementary years.

Indians are now getting highlighted for lacking civic sense and proper etiquettes and as per Dhruv Rathee, this behaviour could indirectly pass on to the children. He therefore, believes that proper parenting, clear boundaries and moral support are highly needed these days which is often lacking due to nuclear family system whereas previously, the joint family system had a better impact on child’s behavioural development as per a research.
