Indian T20 captain SuryaKumar Yadav is enjoying the time off from national duty after winning the T20 format Asia Cup 2025. Yadav is enjoying a much deserved time after an intense Asia Cup tournament in which the Indian team had a mental fatigue due to on-field and off-field rivalry with arch rivals Pakistan.

It is not often we get to see the off-field lives of Indian cricketers. Devisha Shetty, wife of Suryakumar Yadav, recently uploaded a vlog of Karwachauth where she tested her husband on few questions and it was nothing short of adorable.

Vlogger: “What is the meal that you have in the morning before you start the fast?”

Husband: “Oh, that’s called sargi.”

Vlogger: “In the movie, sargi is mentioned. So how many years have I fasted for Karwa Chauth?”

Husband: “This is your 10th year.”

Vlogger: “Can you name a few suhaagan adornments? You know, the items a married woman wears?”

Husband: “Sindoor, bangles, mangalsutra, bindi, payal.”

Vlogger: “So, you are not fasting today?”

Husband: “No, I’m not fasting. You are fasting.”

Vlogger: “It’s my day—I want to be pampered! But I haven’t got my gift yet.”

Surya’s wife often make vlogs with her husband. The couple got married in 2016 and have been going strong since then. Yadav will be captaining the T20 side in Australia from 29th October 2025. The team will play 5T20Is.
