Its not everyday that we get to hear about a bullying story of someone from film industry. Popular actor Arshad Warsi recently opened up about a lesser-known and rather dramatic incident from his childhood during a candid chat with Raj Shamani on his podcast.

Sharing memories from his boarding school days, the Munna Bhai MBBS star recalled how he once stood up to a bully who had been harrassing him for a long time. However, he got unexpected treatment from his teacher later on for the incident.

Arshad Warsi on Getting Bullied and How He Got Revenge

In a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Arshad Warsi recalls the story of how he got bullied in the boarding school. As per Arshad, there used to be a bigger boy than him from abroad who had wealthy parents. The boy would always tease and harrass Arshad whenever opportunity presented. However one time, the boy hit Arshad in the washroom and Arshad had enough by that time.

But there is a happy ending to the story as Arshad got revenge on the boy who was bullying him for quite sometime. On top of that, Arshad was lucky enough to not get scolded by the teacher of his boarding school for that incident.

Arshad Warsi: He was a young kid, and he was started harassing me, he started bullying me, everybody was bigger than me, a small boy.

Raj Shamani: What you mean by Bullying and Harrassing? What did the boy used to do?

Arshad Warsi: Just generally you know that you are just standing and doing unnecessary actions for no reason. He would just keep harassing me.

Arshad Warsi: It went on and on and I didn’t complain because you can’t complain about all the things.

Arshad Warsi: So, we were the last two to go down for Assembly. And I was quickly washing my hands and doing something, and he came and hit me with a bang.

Arshad Warsi: And it seems that after being beaten so many times, I felt enraged and decided that this enough now.

Arshad Warsi: I beated the hell out of him literally. Two three asbestos sheets got broken up in the bathroom. I beated him a lot.

Arshad Warsi: After that we came down for the assembly and I was standing with an angry face.

Arshad Warsi: He was also standing beside and his clothes and hair were messed up because of the beating I had given him.

Arshad Warsi: Sir saw it and he realized that something has happened between the two. Now the boy was no longer speaking that he has gotten beaten by a little boy.

Arshad Warsi: Sir said come here. What happened. So he said that Warsi beat me up in the bathroom and I could have died and he did this, he did that. OK, go.

Arshad Warsi: Teacher said Warsi come here. Stay here. Did you beat him? Yes sir, okay, don’t do it next time.

Arshad Warsi: Hey knew that kid. It wasn’t that he was doing with me only. He was doing this with everyone, so everyone knew about his actions.

Arshad Warsi: See this is what I loved about Boarding School. I beated him a lot but sir never shouted at me at all because somehow down the line sir, he felt that I did the right thing. What he wanted to do, I did it for him.
