It is hard to keep Apoorva Mukhija out of news. She often makes videos that gets eyeballs. Recently, she shared about an incident which destroyed her friendship with a male friend. Apoorva revealed in her latest Instagram video on how she was duped by a Visa Agent and betrayed by a close friend when she applied for the US Visa for the first time in 2023.

Friend’s Greed Turns Betrayal: Apoorva Says Her Trust Was Misused for Personal Gain

Apoorva narrates that her friend got her in touch with an agent who demanded considerably more money from Apoorva for obtaining US Visa for her family of four members. While the agent took nearly Rs 2 Lakh but messed up the paperwork which eventually destroyed their time slot at the embassy.

Apoorva opines that the agent deliberately tried to arrange a time slot in the next 15 days which was not feasible for the entire family.

She came to realize that her friend had deliberately set her up with an agent in order to get Visa work done for free for him and also for his girlfriend. Apoorva opined that she felt betrayed after coming to know about it. The agent eventually refunded half of the fees.

Passport Verification Held For 40 days

In March 2025 Apoorva applied again for the US Visa but realized she needs to renew her passport also. When Apoorva applied for the renewal in Tatkaal, the process was held for police verification due to improper naming on different documents and also because there were multiple FIRs against her due to Latent controversy on Samay Raina show.

Apoorva opined that she had to make rounds of police stations to get her issue sorted and also tried ‘jugaad’ but nothing worked. After 40 days, she finally got her new passport and applied for US Visa which she has been wanting for the last two years.

The rebel kid opined in her video that her friendship with that friend eventually died after she got betrayed.
