The Veteran actor Mr. Anupam Kher has recently joined the ranks of celebrities from all corners who were praising Dhurandhar. He contributed his voice to the growing respect for the movie. In an emotional and honest video shared from abroad, Kher expressed great pride and happiness about the film’s success, even though he has no personal ties to the project.

Calling Dhurandhar a “landmark film,” Kher said Hindi cinema was in urgent need of a movie that breaks patterns rather than follows formulas. He said the film has made the direct impact on audiences in the same way the classic movies like Sholay and Mughal-e-Azam did, showing that real landmark films connect with people more than beyond just making money.

He also praised the film director Aditya Dhar, saying the story is told with strong conviction and that the movie’s true strength comes from its honesty, courage, and not following the usual movie formulas. He also appreciated the performances, calling every actor ‘brilliant.’

Kher had previously also made positive review video about the film when it was newly released in theaters.

Taking a clear stand against attempts to label the film as propaganda, Kher said the overwhelming audience response has decisively shut down such narratives. “This movie is a kind of like a slap to those critics who labelled it as propaganda. The audience doesn’t need to be told what cinema is. Don’t make us feel small that is what the audience is saying” he remarked.

“Tune saare Duniya ke upar maata chada di hai. (You have made the whole world gone crazy with your film)” Kher added with his heart-felt appreciation of the movie.

The veteran actor also praised Ram Gopal Verma for publicly praising the film through his review and tweet.

“And RamGopal Verma, Unbelievable, you have done such a brilliant job by writing those unbelievable posts with so much of abundance and magnamity about another director. Only a director like you can do something like that. ” Kher said.Kher concluded by saluting the entire team behind Dhurandhar, from technicians to stars, calling the film not just a success, but a turning point for Hindi cinema.
