An Indian NRI has blasted Ashish Chanchalani for distasteful language and lack of civic sense towards an eldery gentleman while doing boat ride in Italy.

Rajat Gupta, an Indian NRI from Dallas who often makes videos showing the lack of civic sense of Indians in abroad has strongly critcized the actions of Ashish Chanchalani in the video as he was almost mocking up the gentleman because he seemed to ignore the Youtuber.

Chanchalani could be seen trying to strike up conversation with the boat rider, an elderly man who appeared immersed in a conversation with a girl sitting next to him.

While Chanchalani kept trying to chat him up, the elderly gentleman was busy in conversation with the girl. Even Chanchalani’s friends who were there on boat expressed their frustration that the old man wasn’t paying any heed to them.

This made Chanchalani opined that the gentleman was ignoring him because he preferred to have the conversation with the girl sitting next to him.

“We kept asking him about safety and speed, but he didn’t respond. That girl just asked him about pasta and he became engrossed. This species of men is really bad.

Took Permission?

Chanchalani, in the comment section clarified that he had taken the permission of the boat rider to post this clip on Internet however Rajat Verma, argued that there is no proof of it.

The Indian NRI opiniated that such actions of the Youtuber will instill wrong things in his followers, which are in huge number.

“He has 18 million followers and he is doing this type of act. Think about what his followers will do when they will go abroad in future. They will also do the same thing because they have seen Ashish Chanchalani doing it.

This is what he is teaching to his audience. When he got insulted in the comment section, he is then trying to clarify that he has taken permission from the elderly gentleman. Where is the proof? We don’t know whether he has taken the permission or not.

You will now say this because you have gotten caught doing the wrong thing. Hopefully, you will delete this video. Don’t be such a bad influence on your audience. This guy has got followers but has not yet achieved civic sense.

In the comment section, many users commented (without expressing harshness) that there was lack of civic sense from Ashish Chanchalani. On Ashish’s Insta account, where this reel was originally posted, Ashish clarified that he had taken permission from the boat rider.
