Mukul Dev was an Indian actor, whose news recently came that he has passed away at the age of 54 on 23rd May 2025. He was admitted to one of the hospitals in Delhi, where he took his last breath.

As per credible information, Mukul Dev was suffering from a disease for a long time. He was admitted to the ICU a few days back in Delhi, where his treatment was going, but unfortunately, the news came on 23rd May that he is no more. He died at the young age of 54 years. The news of his death was shared by his younger brother Rahul Dev. While there has been no official confirmation about the cause of death of Mukul Dev ^Ref., the family did say that the actor “died peacefully,” which may suggest that Mukul was battling some disease. However, nothing can be said for sure until official news is revealed by the family members.

Ironically, his last movie was “Anth the End” which was released in the year 2022.

Mukul Dev has been in the entertainment industry since 1996. He has modelled and acted in various films. It is safe to say that the actor would have earned and saved a great amount of money, especially when he was at his prime. If we believe media reports, then Mukul Dev’s net worth is around Rs 50 crores; however exact estimation is hard to do.

It is not clear whether his leftover money, property will be shared with his elder brother or with his daughter Sia Dev, who is around 23 years of age as of now. Many media reports say that Mukul has a luxurious flat in Mumbai where he used to stay alone.

Many people may not know, but Mukul Dev has been separated from his wife for a long time. His wife’s name was Shilpa Dev. As per information on the Internet, Mukul and Shilpa got separated in the year 2005, and the couple has a daughter named Siya. Her wife is not someone from the film industry, however her exact details are not known as of this moment.

In an interview with WildFilmsIndia, Mukul Dev stated that his views on marriage changed after he got married. He used to believe in fairy tale romance, but realized that the bond comes with lots of responsibilities. And that one requires being practical and also allowing convenience to the partner.

Mukul Dev’s father’s name was Haridev Kaushal, who used to be a police commissioner in his time, and her mother’s name was Anoop Kaushal, who was a teacher by profession. Both of his parents left for the heavenly abode years ago. And it’s been observed in the media that Mukul wasn’t the same after his mother’s death. He suffered from depression because of it.

Many people do not know that actor Mukul Dev was an aviator and a trained pilot. Then why did he choose to enter the film industry? Because, as per Mukul, he did not get breaks and opportunities in his flying career, and therefore made the transition into the glamour world. He did pilot training from the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA). While he made his career in the film industry, he still kept his pilot’s license renewed by flying once in a while ^Ref..

There was a time when Mukul was cast in the lead role of Kya Kehna (1998). Everything was prepared, and Mukul was also given the signing amount of Rs 50,000. But on the first day of the shoot, Mukul did not arrive on the set. The production team tried to get a response from the actor. Mukul responded and said that he would be arriving soon.

Sensing that Mukul won’t be able to arrive, the producers decided to call a meeting to finalize another lead actor.

They zeroed in on Saif Ali Khan. At the time when this meeting was going on, Mukul had reached the set and was waiting outside the office to explain the reason why he had arrived late. Producer Ramesh Taurani while going outside of the office to discuss with Saif, met with Mukul and told him that he was no longer a part of the project due to trust issues.
