In her interview with Siddharth Kannan, Jai Madaan revealed a few things about her relationship with her husband that she had never told before.
Jai Madaan got married by arrangement at the young age of 21 to a guy from a Punjabi family who is 8 years older. She went on to become a mother at 21.
Speaking about her husband, she opines that he doesn’t smoke or drink and goes to Gurudwara daily, but there was a time in her marriage when she felt misunderstood.
She revealed that there were times when her relationship with her husband was going through difficult stages.
“I didn’t take a divorce, but yes, I left the house two or three times, but that was not to change him, but to change me. My demands were simple. I want a pampering, understanding husband. He is, but he couldn’t reflect it in that way, and he still doesn’t.” Jai Madaan said about her husband.
“I was stubborn, but I was the wiser one,” said Jai regarding her relationship with her husband in the initial years after marriage.
Regarding her husband, Jai Madaan also opined that he was the one who brought her ego crashing down after the marriage and that it was important for her.
“I had a huge ego about my good looks in younger days. I must have got around 250 proposals before marriage but never said yes to anyone. I had everything that a husband desired. Loyal, never dated anyone, good-looking, hot, someone who wears modern dresses, good with communication. But after the marriage, my husband didn’t praise me as I expected, and my ego came crashing down. And it was important for god to tell me to get out of this ego and narcissism of beauty,” said Jai Madaan about her husband

Host Siddharth Kannan asked the astrologer Jai Madaan whether she had previous relationships before getting married. Jai replied negatively but opined that she used to count the number of proposals which she used to get back in her school days. As per her, many of her friends fell for her, but she didn’t accept their proposals.
