Social activist Tehseen Poonawalla revealed on his Facebook that his Instagram account has been suspended. Poonawalla alleged that the government is responsible for the suspension of his Insta account because his message protesting against Ethanol Petrol was going viral.

Poonawalla even claimed that the country has suffered losses from the Ethanol blending policy instead of the claims by the government that the policy will be beneficial for every stakeholder, including farmers and citizens.

As per Poonawalla, the Petroleum Ministry had earlier made a request to him not to protest and to give the ministry some time to think on the issue.

Poonawalla had earlier announced holding a Press conference at Vijay Chowk to address the Ethanol Policy on how it is affecting the normal citizens.

Just recently, Poonawalla briefed on Twitter that he had been removed from Vijay Chowk by two IPS Officers.
