In the recent Instagram video, Dhruv Rathee labelled the Prime Minister as the “most selfish and unaccountable Prime Minister that India has ever seen”. Rathee was speaking on the matter of Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike, which is nearing 20 days now, with reports coming that Wangchuk has lost nearly 9 kgs of weight and significant muscle mass.

Rathee also gave a sarcastic remark that the Prime Minister will eventually respond with a condolence message when the news will arrive that Wangchuk is no more due to the hunger strike, a case similar to activist GD Agarwal’s case, when the Prime Minister tweeted about Agarwal’s death, who died of a hunger strike for protesting the cleaning of the Ganga river.
